Behind the scenes
To fully understand clients and their needs for any special event you have to 1st imagine yourself in their shoes. Listen to what they want and make suggestions based on your knowledge as a photographer where needed. Capturing an event is much more effective combining the ideas from the client and adding your photography ideas after, not the other way around. Its easy to snap away and hope the events are covered as best as they should be, but this is highly not the way to go when you can never predict every event before hand. All events are different and I never go into any event thinking its easy, even if i get insights from the client.
Most of the time its my duty to make very careful use of this skill when I do weddings. It is probably the most delicate of special events and once your done there is no going back to renact situations or moments. This wedding event has to be captured perfectly, with precise timing so that satisfaction is overwhelming.
